This mid-strength and general-purpose smoothing underlayment is ideal for internal floors. As a two-part joint package of a 20kg bag and 4-litre bottle, UltraFloor’s Level IT 2 High Flow is easy to apply on various types of sub-flooring. It can be used in domestic (DIY) projects and by commercial businesses. Covers 5-metre² flooring at a thickness of 3mm.

UltraFloor Level IT Two High Flow

UltraFloor’s Level IT 2 High Flow is a general-purpose and versatile two-part smoothing underlayment for internal floors. It is easy to apply to many different varieties of sub-floors and can be used in all types of flooring projects, both commercial and DIY (domestic).

As a mid-strength smoothing underlayment, the flow characteristics of Level IT 2 is exceptional. With it, bonded floor covers can be finished after 12 hours.

This Level IT 2 High Flow smoothing underlayment comes in a 25kg bag and a 4-litre bottle. It provides coverage at 3mm thickness for 5 metre². The recommended thickness to use is 2-12mm.

Other special features are its moisture tolerance and low emissions of odour.

Technical information

Specifically designed for use over a wide variety of subfloors including: concrete, sand & cement, calcium sulphate/anhydrite/hemihydrate screeds, existing cementitious underlayments, damp proof membranes and surface electrical radiant heating systems. Decorative permeable floor coverings such as open backed carpets can be applied to the internal subfloors in as little as 8 hours after the application of UltraFloor Level IT Two. Impervious floor coverings such as sheet vinyl and tiles can be applied after 10 hours. A moisture tolerant formulation makes it suitable for the pre-smoothing of floors prior to the application of surface damp proof membranes (DPM) and moisture vapour suppressants (MVS). The protein free formulation of Level IT Two means that it can be used in biologicallly sensitive areas.

How to mix UltraFloor Level IT Two High Flow

  1. Shake the pre-gauged bottle of liquid prior to opening.
  2. Pour the entire contents of the liquid into an oversized bucket (20 litres or more capacity).
  3. Gradually add the powder whilst continually mixing using an electric drill fitted with a power whisk, suitable for use with cement materials.
  4. After completely adding the powder, continue mixing for a further 2 minutes, keeping the whisk below the surface of the product to minimise air entrainment, until a lump free creamy material is attained.
  5. UltraFloor Level IT Two should only be mixed as single units. Do not add further liquid or water.

How to apply UltraFloor Level IT Two High Flow

  1. Pour onto the floor and spread with a smooth edge steel trowel.
  2. UltraFloor Level IT Two has exceptional flow characteristics, a spiked roller may be used to further improve the finish particularly between adjacent units of product.
  3. Only spike roll whilst the product is still in its fluid state (immediately due to the limited workability and rapid setting nature).
