Larsen Streetscape FJM ECO SMOOTH Flowable Jointing Mortar
Larsen Streetscape FJM SMOOTH is a fast set, flowable, slurry paving grout ideal for grouting between all types of paving, perfect for porcelain due to its smaller aggregate size, which means it can accommodate smaller joint widths. Larsen Smooth FJM comes in four beautiful colours, Natural, Charcoal, Buff & Mid-Grey and is also perfect for pointing granite setts, sandstone, limestone, Indian Stone, Yorkstone, concrete and clay slabs. Smooth FJM is pre-blended 25KG bag that only requires the addition of 4.5 to 5litres of clean water to produce a high quality, slurry jointing mortar for rigid or bound construction methods.
Fast to apply, simply pour over the paving slabs and work into the joints with a squeegee, then clean off the grout after the initial set to leave solid joints which will last for years. Larsens Smooth FJM has a workable time of 15 minutes, can accept foot traffic in an hour and vehicles in 4-6 hours. For anyone worried about slurrying a cement based paving mortar across their paving, Larsen FJM has been developed so that it doesn’t stick to the paving, it just sticks where it should in the paving joints! Larsen FJM Smooth last for years and prevents weed growth, meaning you won’t have to re-do your patio year after year!
Larsen Streetscape FJM has been specifically designed to meet the rigorous demands and recommended performance characteristics of the British Standard BS7533 parts 4, 7 & 12, giving you added peace of mind.
We always suggest using a cement based primer such as Larsen PS, on the base and sides of your slabs to improve bond strength and reduce efflorescence. You simply brush or roller apply to the back and side of your paving slabs before placing on the mortar bed to ensure a secure bond and to reduce the chance of staining. Larsen PS Priming Slurry is a part of the Larsen Streetscape System, click here for Larsen PS.

Restrictions
Do not use Streetscape FJM in an unbound or flexible construction, should not be used below 3 °C. The surfaces of paving or substrate should not be frozen and fresh grout should be protected from inclement weather or freezing until required strength is achieved for damage not to occur. Movement joints may be required in ridged/bound constructions and should be laid out at the design stage. The flooding application should not be used with very porous paving blocks, the watering can method is recommended here. It is imperative that Streetscape FJM rapid set jointing mortar is removed from paving slabs before it has fully hardened to prevent staining, hardened grout will be very difficult to remove from the surface of the pavers.
