Nexus ProJoint TITAN is a super high-strength, two-part epoxy patio grout designed for both natural stone and concrete paving slabs and tiles. With a robust formulation it is ideal for areas of high traffic such as driveways, general foot traffic, paths and patios and can carry vehicles up to 10 tonnes. This super, strong epoxy paving grout is self-compacting and accommodates joint widths starting from 5mm, ensuring a durable and professional finish. Once cured, Nexus ProJoint Titan provides a weed-free, frost-resistant joint that withstands pressure washing, which eases long-term maintenance.

Nexus ProJoint TITAN comes in a 22.5KG Tub with pre-mixed resin and sand, requiring only the addition of the included hardener, simplifying the application process. One 22.5KG tub of ProJoint Titan fills joint widths from 5mm wide, & 20mm deep, with an average coverage of 8-10m2 per tub (dependent on joint width/depth). Additionally, ProJoint TITAN can be used on both permeable and non-permeable bedding mixes, making it doubly versatile for paving contractors during various installation situations. Available in three colours—Neutral Buff, Mid Grey, and Basalt—it offers aesthetic versatility to complement differing types of natural stone and concrete slabs, tiles, pavers, setts and cobbles.

What is Nexus ProJoint Titan, High Strength Epoxy Paving Grout?

Nexus ProJoint Titan is an ultra high strength 2-part, epoxy paving grout, for vehicle areas up to 10 tonnes. Ideal for natural stone & manmade paving, it comes supplied as a mixture of sand and resin, with a hardener that it is mixed into the formula to provide a quick and easy to apply paving grout. ProJoint Titan is ideal for filling the joints between paving slabs, tiles and setts.

What size tub is Nexus ProJoint Titan, Paving Grout available in?

Nexus ProJoint Titan is packaged in a vacuum packed pouch within a 22.5KG tub with lid colours that denote the product colour. For larger projects, we also supply full pallets of 40 tubs to the pallet, which can be a combination of product/colour.

What types of paving slabs or tiles can Nexus ProJoint Titan, Paving Grout be used with?

Nexus ProJoint Titan can be used with a variety of stone types, including: Natural Stone – such as Sandstone, Limestone, Travertine, Granite, Basalt, Slate, Marble and Quartzite, Concrete and manmade paving slabs, as well as Clay Pavers. It is ideal for medium to heavy traffic areas up to ten tonnes, including driveways, patios, and pathways, providing a durable, weed-free, and frost-resistant jointing solution.

Can Nexus ProJoint Titan be used with porcelain?

Nexus ProJoint Titan is not recommended for use with porcelain and some darker limestone, such as black limestone, as it can potentially lead to slight oxidisation. Titan also isn’t suitable for porcelain tiles because of the resin sheen it leaves.  On natural stone, the slight sheen that ProJoint Titan leaves looks great as it enhances the natural colours and hues within the stone. However, on porcelain, this resin sheen can often leave uneven patches, due to the density and the impermeable nature of porcelain.  We would suggest using Nexus ProJoint RapidFlow or ProJoint Porcelain instead, for paving grouts suitable for porcelain slabs and tiles.

Is Nexus ProJoint Titan permeable?

Yes, Titan is permeable, it allows water to drain through the joints and helps to prevent puddles or water buildup on your paving or patio.

Do I need to pre-seal paving slabs before using Nexus ProJoint Titan, Paving Grout?

In terms of pre-sealing it is not always necessary when using ProJoint TITAN, but it is highly recommended for certain types of paving materials, especially those that are porous or have a textured surface.

When to Pre-Seal:
✅ Porous Natural Stone – Sandstone, limestone, and some granites may absorb resin, causing staining.
✅ Textured or Riven Surfaces – These can trap excess grout, making cleaning difficult.
✅ Lightly Coloured or Polished Stones – To prevent potential discolouration from resin residues.

When Pre-Sealing May Not Be Needed:
❌ Non-Porous or Dense Stones – Some granites, basalts, and quartzites are less likely to absorb resin.
❌ Smooth, Non-Absorbent Concrete Slabs – These usually clean easily without sealing.

If in doubt, always do a small test area before full application. And if you are unsure or not as experienced laying paving, you may wish to use a Pre-Grout Sealant that washes away quickly after application such as Nexus ProJoint Pre-Grout Stone & Porcelain Sealer.

What is the resin layer over my patio and paving slabs after applying Nexus ProJoint Titan, will it fade?

Due to the high epoxy resin content in ProJoint Titan, you will get a slight sheen that will darken and enhance the natural surface colours and textures of your paving. This resin film can be particularly noticeable on grey paving, such as granite, so a test area is advised before use. Please note that it is important to spread the mix across the total paving area to ensure the potential effect is uniform. The sheen that appears after using Nexus ProJoint Titan is a temporary effect, and with weathering, foot traffic and time (around 1 week – 6 months) this will disappear.

How long does the resin layer stay on the paving?

It can take on average between one week to six months for the resinous sheen after application of ProJoint Titan to disappear. On average it would normally take around 2-3 months to fade fully.

How can I stop the resin sheen from forming?

Use ProJoint Pre-Grout Sealant:
We recommended using a sealer such as ProJoint Pre-Grout sealant before pointing your patio or paved aread. This sealer provides a barrier which provides a surface coating to the stone, preventing the epoxy from adhering or penetrating into the surface. Using this in conjunction with a wet medium-soft brush at a 45-degree angle to the joints while jointing will eliminate any resin sheen after use.

It is crucial to begin pointing when the temperature range is between 5°C to 20°C, and to keep slabs misted, with water. If the stone surface is too warm, particularly on darker slabs, the curing speed of this super strength epoxy grout will increase and will create a challenge in keeping the pavers adequately wet. It is also worth noting, that if the air temperature is above 20°C, the surface temp could be up to 40°C, setting your grout too quickly on the slabs, making it difficult to remove the product completely.

To prepare and apply Nexus ProJoint Titan, ensure the paving is adequately clean and free from debris, and soaked with water before brushing or squeegeeing Titan over the surface. Use a wet medium-soft brush at a 45-degree angle to the joints to push sand into the joints, remove any excess sand off the pavers. Note that any sand left on the surface will not be easily removed once the product has cured.

How long does Nexus ProJoint Titan take to cure?

Cure times are dependent on temperature and humidity, but as a guide ProJoint Titan can accept foot traffic after 12 hours and light vehicle traffic, such as cars and motorbikes after 24 hours (at 20°C). It’s important to note that cold temperatures and moisture in the air, will extend the cure and therefore extra curing time will be required. On the initial cure, the joints will feel semi-hard and will continue to cure and reach strength over the coming days. Please do not panic if the joints are not touch hard within a few days, they will continue to cure over a few weeks.

I’m concerned that the surface of my paving is tacky after applying Nexus ProJoint Titan, why is this?

Tacky patches on your paving slabs, tiles or setts sometimes happens when excess Titan isn’t cleaned away correctly during application. To alleviate this issue, we recommend that you use a damp sponge or clean cloth to remove any leftover resin as you go. Failing that, give us a call and we can recommend a grout haze remove such as Lithofin.

Can you pressure wash Nexus ProJoint Titan?

Yes! Once fully cured, ProJoint Titan can be pressure washed. We recommend that you use a fan nozzle and keep the pressure washer at a 45 degree angle, and safe distance away from your paving slabs to avoid damaging the joints.

What temperatures can I apply Nexus ProJoint Titan from?

For the best results, apply Titan when the temperature is above 5°C (you can use from 5°C to 20°C.). Avoid very cold or frosty conditions, as this can affect curing and leave the joints tacky or not fully set.

Once mixed, can I store any left over Nexus ProJoint Titan for future use?

No, sorry you can’t. Nexus ProJoint Titan must be used immediately after mixing. Please be sure to only mix what you need for your project!

What is the Shelf Life for Nexus ProJoint Titan?

Shelf life from date of manufacture is 12 months. Keep tub unopened protect from frost, cold and drafts. Please note: the use of this product after the end of the declared storage period may increase the risk of an allergic reaction.
