Berta ADV Sponge Roller Replacements – for cleaning grout off patio’s and floors

Raimondi replacement Sponge Rollers for use with the Berta ADV Sponge Machine, for cleaning cement & epoxy based grouts from patio’s and indoor floors. The moisture level in the sponge is easily adjustable with a pressure lever, and the sponges are fed from an impact resistant plastic water tank by a foam-reducing belt – that’s really easy to remove, so there’s also no pump to clog up. The roller is also easily replaced as it has a magnetic “quick clutch” system.

There are three different sponges for you to choose from dependant on the type of grout – cement or epoxy based, that you are using.

Choose from the following Sponge Rollers:

• Avana – brown for cement based grout
• Sweepex – soft yellow with high absorption for cement based grout
• Cellulosa – dense yellow for epoxy resin based grout

The diameter of each of these sponge rollers is 295mm and width is 400mm.

How often do Berta ADV Sponge Rollers need replacing?

It’s estimated that a reusable Berta sponge roller can last for cleaning grout off areas from anywhere between 150m² to 2,000m². How often you need change the roller really depends on the tile grout you’ve used (whether it’s abrasive) and the chosen paving materials.

Jon Gerrish, an experienced landscaper from Paved in Stone, says, “I find that the Berta sponges are great for porcelain and other smooth stone, and can be reused a few times.”
