Segmented blades cut faster and are suited to concrete and stone. Continuous rim blades produce smoother cuts and are preferred for porcelain.

Use a high-quality porcelain blade, ensure adequate water cooling and avoid forcing the cut.

A bullnose blade is used to create rounded edges on steps, coping stones or exposed slab edges for a finished look.

Blade lifespan depends on material hardness, usage and cooling. Porcelain is dense and may wear blades faster than natural stone.
