How to mix Post Fix Rapid Hardening Concrete
Post Fix should be mixed by hand or with a freefall mixer:
- Simply mix the inner bag containing the cement with the aggregate. Add approximately 1.75 litres of water initially and mix thoroughly.
- Should the addition of extra water be required, add only small amounts at a time to a maximum of 2.5 litres and mix gradually until a stiff concrete consistency is achieved.
- The addition of excessive water will result in slower strength gain, reduced final compressive strength and the possibility of shrinkage cracking.
How to apply Post Fix Rapid Hardening Concrete
- Apply Post Fix material over the pre-soaked area within 4 minutes of mixing.
- Firm the material well into position by tamping or using a float.
- Clean any mixing equipment with water immediately after use.
