UltraScape Flowpoint Premium ECO Paving Grout – Stone Grey
New to the market, UltraScape Flowpoint Premium Paving Grout in Stone Grey is an environmentally friendly, flowable, rapid setting slurry paving grout, which is ideal for filling the joints between all types of paving slabs & setts. With 20% recycled materials, Flowpoint Premium ECO is perfect for use on granite setts, sandstone, traditional limestone, porcelain, clay, Indian Stone, Yorkstone and concrete slabs. Flowpoint Premium comes in two new colours to the Flowpoint range; Stone Grey & Limestone, and is available in a handy showerproof 25KG bag. Flowpoint Premium Eco is simple to mix, you just add 4.25 litres of clean water to a bucket, add the powder, and mix for between three to five minutes until a smooth lump-free consistency has been achieved. Flowpoint Premium ECO will reach its initial set in just thirty minutes, and will accept light foot traffic after one hour, and vehicular traffic after four hours.
To apply Flowpoint Premium ECO Paving Grout, paving should be free from debris & ponded water. The paving surface & joints should be pre-soaked & kept lightly damp with a consistent light spray of water, until the jointing process has been completed. The grout is then simply poured over the paving slabs, carefully pushed into the joints with a neoprene squeegee, then washed off once it has hardened sufficiently.
Flowpoint Premium ECO Paving Grout produces robust joints that last up to forty years, stops weeds in their tracks and conforms to the strict demands of the British Standard BS 7533. With a forty year heritage, Flowpoint has been widely used across the world on a variety of prestigious schemes including public realm, landscaping, streetscape projects and thousands of domestic patios.

How long does Flowpoint Premium ECO Paving Grout take to set?
After mixing, Flowpoint Premium ECO Paving Grout can take as little as 15-30 minutes to set (temperature is 20oC). However, as a rule of thumb – the hotter the temperature, the faster Flowpoint will set, in colder temperatures it’ll take a little longer for Flowpoint to set. The secret is to keep the area misted with light spray of water, and keep checking the joints for firmness, once you get a very light thumbprint it’s pretty much set, start with a light wash off with water and a soft brush, and then a second wash with a stiffer brush to remove any stubborn grout left behind. Is Flowpoint Premium ECO Paving Grout permeable?

The number of bags of Flowpoint Premium ECO Paving Grout in Stone Grey needed to joint between paving slabs, tiles or setts depends on the area in square metres that you have to pave, the width and length of your slabs, and the width and depth of your joints. Under the image above, you will find a handy calculator to help you work this out. But, as a general rule of thumb, for larger format porcelain tiles 600mm x 900mm; with a joint width of 5mm and depth of 20mm you’ll use one bag of Flowpoint Premium ECO per 30m2. For a mixed pack of sandstone slabs you’ll use one bag on average for every 20m2, and for granite setts that are much smaller in area and have a need for a deeper joint you’ll use on average one bag per 1.5-2m2.
