Meet Ashton Evans

A Vital Part of Our Warehouse Team

Ashton is a hugely valued member of our team and a real asset to our warehouse! He's hardworking, loyal and always willing to roll up his sleeves and get stuck in. With a fantastic attitude and a real eagerness to learn, Ashton is always looking to develop his knowledge and skills, and we're lucky to have him as part of our little family business.

As our Warehouse Operations Coordinator, Ashton plays a vital role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. He's reliable, dedicated and always happy to muck in wherever he's needed. Whether it's keeping things organised, getting orders ready or tackling whatever the day throws at him, you can count on Ashton to give it his all. He's a real team player, takes pride in his work and is always keen to learn something new.

Ashton works very much behind the scenes, so he doesn't always get the recognition he deserves – but he's the one who packs every single order and makes sure it gets out to our customers on time. It's a job that takes real care and attention to detail, and our customers have Ashton to thank every time their order lands on the doorstep exactly when it should.

And when it comes to the forklift, there's absolutely no shortage of confidence! In Ashton's own words, he's "the best forklift driver in the land" – and we're certainly not going to argue with him! His practical approach, attention to detail and willingness to learn have made him a really important part of our warehouse team.

Family Man

Outside of work, Ashton is very much a family man. With a young family of his own, family is incredibly important to him, and that same loyalty and commitment shines through in everything he does.

Football Talent

But there's another side to Ashton that you might not know about… he's an incredibly talented footballer! Ashton plays on the right wing for FC Black Rose and is their top goal scorer. He's even had trials for West Bromwich Albion, so it's fair to say there's a bit of talent in those boots! We're not sure whether it's skill, speed or sheer determination, but whatever it is, he's certainly pretty handy on the pitch.

When he's not playing football, Ashton is a very proud Chelsea fan. We're based right here in the Midlands, surrounded by some fantastic local teams, so we're still trying to work out why he decided to support a team from London! We won't hold it against him though… much.

Beyond Work

Ashton is also a big fan of a good joke and is rarely short of something to tell us. There's always a story, a funny comment or a bit of banter ready to go, and his sense of humour brings plenty of laughs to the working day. He's definitely one of those people who keeps the team entertained!

And then there's Ashton's appetite…! He's a big fan of junk food, and we genuinely have no idea where he puts it all. He can walk through the door in the morning and polish off an entire packet of biscuits before most of us have even had a chance to make a cuppa – his favourite is a good chocolate Hobnob, so feel free to keep that in mind if you ever fancy treating him! And if the biscuits aren't enough, there's always his beloved blue Pot Noodle waiting in the wings. At this point, we're beginning to think biscuits and Pot Noodles should be included in his job description!

When it comes to films, Ashton's favourite is The Wolf of Wall Street, and his favourite actor is Margot Robbie. We asked him why… but we're pretty sure we can work that one out for ourselves! We'll leave it there! 😂

A Great Addition to the Team

All jokes aside, Ashton is a genuinely lovely chap who brings a great deal to our business. His loyalty, work ethic, willingness to learn and good nature make him a really important part of our team.

We're delighted to have Ashton on board. He's a fantastic member of our warehouse team, a devoted family man, a talented footballer, a self-proclaimed forklift legend and, quite possibly, our biggest biscuit and blue Pot Noodle enthusiast!

We're lucky to have you, Ashton — although we may need to start hiding the biscuit tin!
