About Rachael

Rachael is Office Manager at The Paving Experts and a valued member of the team. Known for her warm, professional approach and strong understanding of the products and people she supports, she plays an important role in ensuring every customer receives clear guidance and a positive experience. She's also got a brilliant sense of humour, and there's rarely a quiet moment in the office when Rachael's around!

Rachael believes exceptional service starts with listening. She takes the time to understand each customer’s needs and takes pride in offering support that is both knowledgeable and personable.

Experience & Approach

Since joining The Paving Experts, Rachael has built strong, practical knowledge across the product range, with particular expertise in Flowpoint and other Instarmac products. She works closely with colleagues and contractors to troubleshoot queries and expand her technical knowledge.

Earlier in her career, Rachael served as a Mortgage Underwriter, sharpening her attention to detail and problem-solving skills. She also spent many years managing the operations and customer inquiries for a family-run fitness business.

Rachael holds a BA (Hons) in Social Science with Social Policy and a Diploma in Criminology from the Open University, supporting her considered approach to professional communication.

Supporting Contractors & Domestic Customers

Rachael provides practical guidance for both professional contractors and domestic homeowners, ensuring they have full confidence in their product selection and the service provided by the team.

Beyond Work

Rachael lives in Tamworth with her husband Gary (Gaz, to those who know him well), their daughter Liv, and their Basset Hound, Daisy – and she absolutely adores them all. She also loves spending time with her mum and sister, whether that's a good catch-up or a spot of shopping together.

She's a real homebird at heart and loves nothing more than being cosy at home, but don't let that fool you – she's just as sociable and always up for seeing friends, who mean the world to her. Rachael knows how to let her hair down too! She's built herself a home bar and loves nothing more than mixing up a little tipple (a glass of prosecco is never far away), sticking on some 90s boogie tunes and having a proper dance around the kitchen. When she's not up dancing, you'll usually find her curled up with a good drama box set – the more twists and turns, the better – with a big bowl of pasta or a bar of chocolate close at hand, since they're two of her absolute favourite things. And of course, no day is complete without a good cup of tea – not too strong, with a good glug of milk, just how she likes it.
