UltraScape Flowpoint Paving Grout - Charcoal: Part Pallet Deal x 28 Bags
UltraScape Flowpoint Charcoal is a flowable slurry grout which exceeds all of the requirements of the latest British Standard BS7533. Flowpoint has been widely specified for over 20 years by architects, specifiers, main contractors, landscape architects, highways engineers, paving engineers and local authorities. Flowpoint is perfect for public realm, landscaping and domestic projects. UltraScape Flowpoint is trusted, respected and specified because of its fast pourable application, cost-effectiveness and robust jointing. Flowpoint reduces the need for traditional slower application methods reducing manpower and protecting resources.
Flowpoint comes in handy 25KG bags, is simply mixed on site with water then squeegeed into joints. With an initial set of 15 minutes, it’s then simply washed off the slabs and open to pedestrians in 1 hour, and cars, busses and lorries in 4 hours.
Use Flowpoint grout with:
- Granite setts
- Sandstone
- Porcelain
- Indian Stone
- Yorkstone
- Concrete slabs
- Limestone (Not ideal with black limestone, can lead to slight oxidisation).
What is Flowpoint?
Flowpoint is a flowable, fast set, external paving grout which is ideal for filling the joints in patio flags, paving slabs, terraces and pavements. Once cured it prevents weeds from growing between slabs.
How long does Flowpoint last?
When applied correctly, Flowpoint slurry paving grout can last beyond 20 years without the need to grout the paving again.
How long does Flowpoint take to set?
After mixing, Flowpoint external paving grout can take as little as 15 minutes to set (temperature is 20oC). However, as a rule of thumb - the hotter the temperature, the faster Flowpoint will set, in colder temperatures it'll take a little longer for Flowpoint to set.
Is Flowpoint grout permeable?
No, Flowpoint is non-permeable, cementitious-based grout - meaning it doesn’t allow water to pass through it once set.
Can you use Flowpoint in the rain?
Yes, you can use Flowpoint in light rain but ensure the paving joints don't fill up with rainwater. Applying Flowpoint on a damp day can actually be beneficial, because it can stop the wet slurry from setting too quickly. For any water that settles into your joints prior to applying the Flowpoint Paving Grout, use a leaf blower to remove standing water.
What is the Shelf Life for Flowpoint?
Shelf life from date of manufacture printed on the bag, unopened in the above conditions, for sealed bags is 8 months. Please note: the use of this product after the end of the declared storage period may increase the risk of an allergic reaction.
