How much you will need?
Technical information
Flowcon is supplied in 25kg polythene bags and is manufactured from selected cements, sands, aggregates and chemical admixtures, it boasts a high compressive strength of 55N/mm². The product requires only the addition of water and can be applied to depths of 20mm-200mm in one pass. Flowcon should not be used at temperatures below 5°C during application or initial set.- Workability: 60 minutes
- Set time: 6 hours
- Depth: 20mm – 200mm
- Pre-blended cement for a consistent quality mix

How to mix and apply Flowcon
Each bag of Flowcon contains aggregate as well as a small pack of specialist cements.- Add the entire contents of the pack and the aggregate to a standard free fall mixer.
- If the material is to be mixed by hand, empty contents onto a clean board and mix without adding the water for a short time to combine the cement and the aggregate.
- Because the aggregates contain moisture, water should be added gradually untill the required consistency is achieved. Typically 1.5-3 litres of clean water should be sufficient for a 25kg bag of product to achieve the desired consistency. Note: It is essential that this product not be over-watered.
- The mixed material should be applied as soon as possible after mixing.
- Tamp or finish as necessary avoiding excessive vibration as segregation of aggregate may occur.
