How to split blocks, kerbstones or limestones with the Probst STS-43 Block Cutter
Adjust the STS-43 to the desired height using the two smooth-running hand cranks, the blade should only touch the workpiece minimally. Turn the cranks back by half a turn so that there is a minimum gap between the blade and the workpiece, to avoid jamming turn both cranks up & down simultaneously. Press down on the lever to cut the stone cleanly.- Bring the STS-43 up to the correct height (the blade distance to the stone being cut should be 1-5 mm)
- Observe angle and contact surface
- Press lever down to split the stone

How to split blocks, kerbstones or limestones with the Probst STS-43 Block Cutter
