The green button is now waterproof, however the unit as a whole is not waterproof and should be treated like any power tool. It is designed to be used on damp surfaces such as wet paving, but just not ‘in’ water. So any surface water should be removed first.
The seal on the GRABO is just under 7” wide (175mm) at the outside edge, and needs a minimum surface of 6-7” for it to work effectively.
