How do I apply Instant Road Repair 10mm for a Pothole Repair?
- Ensure the area is clean and free from debris.
- Seal the pothole edges and substrate using UltraCrete SCJ.
- Fill the hole with Instant Road Repair 10mm.
- Tamp down.
How do I apply Instant Road Repair 10mm for first time permanent repairs?
- Saw cut a ‘picture frame’ around the repair or reinstatement area.
- Ensure the area is clear of debris.
- Seal vertical edges and substrate with UltraCrete SCJ. Reinstatements requiring up to 60mm in depth can be achieved by using the layer-on-layer method.
- Apply the product to a depth of approximately 45mm and compact to 30mm to achieve your first layer.
- Re-apply SCJ Edge Sealant to vertical edges before applying a second layer of Instant Road Repair 10mm.
- Repeat step 4 to achieve the 60mm depth.
Please note: All compaction should be carried out in accordance with Appendix 8 of the SROH 2010. If over-banding is required, apply UltraCrete Instaband ECO.
