The Raimondi Easy-Lock Replacement Sponge With or Without Cuts, fits easily and quickly into the Raimondi Easy-Lock Sponge Float (130×300) when your old sponge is worn out. Use with either the Pulirapid Washboy or the Smart Bucket Washboy.
Highly absorbent, these sponges are designed to rapidly clean grout from natural stone, porcelain and manmade paving slabs, leaving perfectly smooth, grout residue free, clean surfaces. Ideal for use with Fuga-Pave, Flowpoint and Larsen FJM paving grouts.

The Raimondi Easy-Lock Sponge Float is used by tilers and landscapers, in conjunction with a washboy to clean grout from between the joints and across the surface of paving slabs and tiles. Grout float sponges are used to clean the tiles in order to remove excess grout and clean any grout residue off the surface.

How do you use an Easy-Lock Sponge Float to clean up paving grout?
Grout your paving slabs with Fuga Pave, Larsen FJM or Flowpoint, or your choice of paving grout, then dip the sponge into a washboy such as the Pulirapid Washboy filled with clean water. Carefully using the rollers on the washboy, squeeze any excess water off the sponge grout float, ensuring that you don't drip or spill water onto the newly grouted tiles. We recommend changing your water in your washboy regularly, and two clean ups - one to remove stubborn grout, and one as a final clean down should do the trick. On the first clean up hold the sponge float completely flat, pull the float gently and horizontally across the tiles to emulsify the the grout fully. As you move across the area, dunk the sponge float back into the water and wash the excess grout off by rubbing the float across the grate at the bottom of the washboy, repeating the process across the whole tiled floor or paved patio, completing small sections at a time. Remember to change the water in the washboy frequently. For the final clean up, change the water so that it is completely clean, submerge the sponge, ensuring that there is no grout on the bottom of the sponge float by rubbing across the grate, then again pull the sponge across the tiles or slabs horizontally to clean all of the excess grout from the area. Once the whole area is complete, check for any excess residue grout and repeat as necessary.Delivery & Returns Info
