How do I apply UltraCrete Permanent Pothole Repair?

Pothole repairs can be achieved at any depth using the layer on layer method. Application:
  1. Ensure pothole is free of debris and standing water.
  2. Apply UltraCrete SCJ spray sealant to pothole edges.
  3. Apply the product slightly proud of the pothole.
  4. Compact with a hand tamper, or suitable mechanical alternative.
Handling guidelines UltraCrete Permanent Pothole Repair is manufactured and delivered within as short a time as possible to ensure fresh easy to lay material is supplied. It should be noted that bags on pallets, particularly those at the bottom, could appear firm. Applying light pressure to the edge of the bag will restore the material to its normal consistency.
Potholes form when water enters cracks in tarmac or asphalt, freezes, and weakens the surface, which then breaks under traffic. Instarmac UltraCrete offers fast, durable solutions including Instant Road Repair (IRR 6mm & 10mm), Permanent Pothole Repair (PPR), and Tough Patch for high-traffic areas. SCJ Cold Joint Bitumen Spray prevents water ingress, and Instaband ECO Tape seals repairs. IRR and PPR are bitumen-based and cure after compaction, while Tough Patch is water-activated for rapid curing, providing long-lasting repairs for roads, footpaths, driveways, and carriageways.
