- Combine with SCJ Seal and Tack spray for a permanent repair

Additional information
Instant Road Repair 10mm includes fully graded, high PSV interlocking aggregate and specially formulated bitumen containing polymers and flexibilisers. It forms part of the UltraCrete HAPAS Approved Ironwork Reinstatement System.
It is satisfactory for use as a PCSM in accordance with Appendix A2.4 of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991: Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways (SROH).
NBS Plus registered for ease of specification.
Shelf life: 6 months from date of manufacture in sealed units. Once opened, all material should be used up (DOM usually found on the lid or side of tub or bag. For queries, please contact us).
How do I apply IRR 10mm Pothole Repair?
- Saw cut a ‘picture frame’ around the repair or reinstatement area.
- Ensure the area is clear of debris.
- Seal vertical edges and substrate with UltraCrete SCJ Cold-Joint Spray. Reinstatements requiring up to 100mm in depth can be achieved by using the layer-on-layer method.
- Apply the product to a depth of approximately 45mm and compact to 30mm to achieve your first layer.
- Re-apply SCJ Edge Sealant to vertical edges before a second layer of Instant Road Repair 10mm is applied.
- Repeat step 4.
- Re-apply SCJ to vertical edges.
- Finally apply a 60mm layer and compact to 40mm to provide the final surface course.
Please note: All compaction should be carried out in accordance with Appendix 8 of the SROH 2010. If over-banding is required, apply UltraCrete Instaband ECO.
