Lithofin MN Builders Clean - Grout cleaner for granite
How do you remove grout residue or efflorescence left on your granite setts, patio or paving slabs? Try Lithofin MN Builders Clean, it's the ideal paving cleaner for removing cement based paving grouts such as Flowpoint or Larsen FJM from granite, quartzite and other acid resistant natural and artificial stones.
Lithofin MN Builders Clean simply dissolves cement and mortar residue, efflorescence, limescale deposits, stubborn ingrained dirt, rust and rust discolouration (the yellowish discolouration which results from iron containing stones rusting is removed and largely prevented).
Lithofin MN Builders Clean can be used on
- All Types acid resistant natural stones
- Granite,
- Gneiss
- Quarzite
- Not suitable for polished marble & limestone

How to use Lithofin MN Builders Clean
- Before applying, ensure the area is damp by lightly spraying a little water
- Dilute Lithofin MN Builders Clean with water up to 1:10, depending on the type of dirt
- Immediately apply the product evenly across the surface with a scrubbing brush
- After a few minutes, scrub the surface to loosen any dirt or grout residue, then wash away with clean water
Important notes
- Always test the product in an inconspicuous area prior to use, especially blue and black “granites” which can be damaged.
- Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.
- Do not allow the product to dry on the surface.
- Where grout residue still remains, you may need to repeat the process a second time.
- Not suitable for polished or finely honed surfaces which are sensitive to acid such as limestone, marble, manufactured stone, etc.
- Surfaces such as chrome, enamel, wood, and similar acid sensitive surface must be protected against splashes and vapours. Acid containing cleaners can develop vapours which may damage sensitive surfaces. We highly recommend carefully washing the product off the surface and ensuring good ventilation during and after use.

How to use Lithofin MN Builders Clean
