Suitable surfaces and important exclusions
Use ProJoint Eliminator on unpolished natural stone paving, sensitive stone such as black limestone, and unpolished porcelain surfaces. It is suitable for internal and external walls and floors.
Do not use it on polished marble, polished travertine, polished limestone or other polished surfaces. It is also not suitable for resin sheen from epoxy systems such as TITAN. For every project, test a small, inconspicuous area first and proceed only when you are satisfied with the result.
How to remove grout haze and cement residue
Light deposits
Dilute 1 part ProJoint Eliminator with 4 parts cold, clean water. Apply with a cloth or sponge, allow up to a maximum of 30 minutes for the solution to penetrate, then remove the loosened residue with a large clean sponge and plenty of water.
Heavy deposits
Dilute 1 part ProJoint Eliminator with 1 part cold, clean water. Apply liberally and agitate with a scrubbing brush or rotary scrubbing machine. Allow approximately 5–10 minutes’ working time, keeping the surface wet by applying more solution if needed. Once the residue has loosened, remove it with a clean sponge and plenty of water.
Extreme deposits
Pre-wet the surface with cold, clean water, then apply ProJoint Eliminator neat. Agitate with a scrubbing brush, nylon pad or mechanical scrubber, and immediately remove the loosened residue with a clean sponge. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Always add Eliminator to water, not water to Eliminator. Do not allow the product to dry on the treated surface. Add more product or clean water as necessary to keep the area wet.

How to apply ProJoint Eliminator
For unpolished natural stone, sensitive stone and unpolished porcelain only. Do not use on polished surfaces or resin sheen from epoxy systems such as TITAN. If you need an epoxy grout remover, call us before starting and we’ll recommend the right product.
- Remove loose debris and test a small, inconspicuous area first.
- For light deposits, add 1 part Eliminator to 4 parts cold, clean water. Apply with a cloth or sponge and allow up to 30 minutes.
- For heavy deposits, add 1 part Eliminator to 1 part cold, clean water. Apply liberally, agitate and allow approximately 5–10 minutes.
- For extreme deposits, pre-wet the surface, apply Eliminator neat, agitate and rinse immediately.
- Keep the treated surface wet and do not allow the product to dry. Extract loosened residue and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

ProJoint Eliminator – Grout Haze, Cement Residue, Efflorescence and Salt Remover
Professional-strength, brick-acid-free cleaner for unpolished natural stone and porcelain surfaces.
ProJoint Eliminator is an eco-friendly cement residue and grout haze remover for unpolished natural stone paving, porcelain paving and sensitive stone, including black limestone. It is designed to remove grout haze, cementitious residues, cement deposits, efflorescence and salts after paving, tiling or grouting.
Using acid-replacement technology rather than brick acid, ProJoint Eliminator is suitable for interior and exterior walls and floors. It is practical for landscaping contractors and DIY users, and is designed to give fast results when used at the correct dilution for the deposit being treated.
Important: ProJoint Eliminator is not suitable for polished surfaces or for resin sheen from epoxy systems such as TITAN. Always test it on a small, inconspicuous area before treating the full surface.

What does ProJoint Eliminator remove?
ProJoint Eliminator is designed to remove grout haze, cement residue, cementitious deposits, efflorescence and salts from suitable unpolished natural stone and porcelain surfaces. It can be particularly useful after paving or grouting when unwanted cement residue has been left on the surface.
Suitable surfaces and important exclusions
Use ProJoint Eliminator on unpolished natural stone paving, sensitive stone such as black limestone, and unpolished porcelain surfaces. It is suitable for internal and external walls and floors.
Do not use it on polished marble, polished travertine, polished limestone or other polished surfaces. It is also not suitable for resin sheen from epoxy systems such as TITAN. For every project, test a small, inconspicuous area first and proceed only when you are satisfied with the result.
How to remove grout haze and cement residue
Light deposits
Dilute 1 part ProJoint Eliminator with 4 parts cold, clean water. Apply with a cloth or sponge, allow up to a maximum of 30 minutes for the solution to penetrate, then remove the loosened residue with a large clean sponge and plenty of water.
Heavy deposits
Dilute 1 part ProJoint Eliminator with 1 part cold, clean water. Apply liberally and agitate with a scrubbing brush or rotary scrubbing machine. Allow approximately 5–10 minutes’ working time, keeping the surface wet by applying more solution if needed. Once the residue has loosened, remove it with a clean sponge and plenty of water.
Extreme deposits
Pre-wet the surface with cold, clean water, then apply ProJoint Eliminator neat. Agitate with a scrubbing brush, nylon pad or mechanical scrubber, and immediately remove the loosened residue with a clean sponge. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Always add Eliminator to water, not water to Eliminator. Do not allow the product to dry on the treated surface. Add more product or clean water as necessary to keep the area wet.

How do I remove grout haze from porcelain paving?
For light grout haze, use a 1:4 dilution with cold, clean water, allow up to 30 minutes, then remove the residue with a sponge and water. For heavier deposits, use 1:1, agitate and keep the surface wet before extracting and rinsing.
How do I remove cement residue from paving?
Use 1:4 for light deposits with up to 30 minutes’ working time, 1:1 for heavy deposits with approximately 5–10 minutes’ working time, or neat on a pre-wetted surface for extreme deposits. Agitate, extract and rinse thoroughly.
Can ProJoint Eliminator be used neat?
Yes. Pre-wet the affected area, apply the product neat, agitate and immediately extract and rinse with clean water.
Can it be applied to damp paving?
Yes. It can be applied to damp surfaces, although additional water may dilute the solution and affect performance. Follow the dilution guidance for the deposit being treated.
How long does ProJoint Eliminator take to work?
Light deposits can be left for up to 30 minutes, heavy deposits usually need approximately 5–10 minutes, and neat treatment for extreme deposits should be agitated and rinsed immediately. Do not allow the solution to dry.
How do I apply ProJoint Eliminator to paving?
Remove loose debris, select the correct dilution, apply with a cloth or sponge for light deposits, or agitate heavier deposits with a brush or rotary scrubbing machine. Keep the area wet, extract the residue and rinse with clean water.
Can landscaping contractors use it?
Yes. It is suitable for professional paving and landscaping work where grout haze, cement residue, efflorescence or salts need removing from suitable surfaces.

Our delivery charges are calculated based on the size and weight of your order. When you add items to your basket, the delivery charges are displayed. Small orders are distributed via courier; larger orders via Pallet Network. Collection is available from our Tamworth depot by request (contact us first to arrange on 0330 122 1025).

How to apply ProJoint Eliminator
For unpolished natural stone, sensitive stone and unpolished porcelain only. Do not use on polished surfaces or resin sheen from epoxy systems such as TITAN. If you need an epoxy grout remover, call us before starting and we’ll recommend the right product.
- Remove loose debris and test a small, inconspicuous area first.
- For light deposits, add 1 part Eliminator to 4 parts cold, clean water. Apply with a cloth or sponge and allow up to 30 minutes.
- For heavy deposits, add 1 part Eliminator to 1 part cold, clean water. Apply liberally, agitate and allow approximately 5–10 minutes.
- For extreme deposits, pre-wet the surface, apply Eliminator neat, agitate and rinse immediately.
