Use slurry grout for areas that need to withstand heavy loads or vehicle traffic, or where maximum joint strength is required. It provides stronger adhesion and better long-term performance than brush-in options. Designed for impermeable bedding, if joints need to be permeable, use a a brush-in, or an epoxy grout.
Yes. Slurry grout is a great choice for porcelain paving, as long as you have an impermeable bed. As porcelain paving often has narrower joints, use a slurry grout designed for for reduced joint widths.
Yes. A slurry primer is always recommended and should be applied to the back of each slab before laying to ensure proper adhesion, prevent future movement and avoid issues with efflorescence.
Most slurry grouts set within a few hours and achieve full cure within 24–48 hours, depending on temperature and conditions. Avoid heavy traffic until the grout is fully cured.
Pre-seal porous stone before grouting, avoid working in hot conditions, and clean residue promptly using clean water or a suitable grout haze remover.
