How to Mix & Apply Flowpoint ECO
- Ensure joints are free from debris and all ponded water is removed.
- Pre-soak paving surface and joints — keep damp throughout the jointing process.
- Add 4.25 litres of clean water per 25KG bag. Mix with a paddle mixer for 3–5 minutes until smooth and lump-free.
- Apply without delay. Mix only what you can apply in approx. 4 minutes. Do not store liquid mortar. Never remix or add extra water.
- Pour over paving and force into joints using a long-handled neoprene squeegee. Keep surface constantly damp.
- Move grout across the surface repeatedly to top up joints where mortar has slumped.
- Squeegee off as much mortar as possible from the surface.
- Once initial set (thumb test: firm, no bleed), clean down with brush and copious clean water. No mortar to remain on surface.
Temperature note: cool temperatures retard; warm temperatures accelerate. Wear protective clothing. Avoid skin and eye contact. A small trial is recommended to confirm compatibility with your specific stone type.
