About the product

UltraScape Flowpoint Premium Smooth Limestone: Full Pallet of 56 x 25kg Bags with Free Delivery

This full pallet deal contains 56 x 25kg bags of Flowpoint Premium Smooth Limestone paving grout, with free standard delivery. If you're getting ready for a larger paving job, it lets you have the grout delivered together and bags ready as work moves along. It's worth considering for granite setts too, where smaller units and wider or deeper joints can use more grout per square metre. You'll receive 1,400kg in individual bags, ready to mix as you need them.

Flowpoint Premium Smooth Limestone combines the finer aggregate of Flowpoint Smooth with the warm Limestone colour of Flowpoint Premium. It fills joints from just 3mm, sets in 30 minutes and can last up to 40 years when correctly installed. For pale natural stone and porcelain where Natural Grey or Charcoal would look too stark, it gives you a warmer joint colour without moving to a coarser grade.

Rapid-setting and BS 7533 compliant, for joints 3–50mm wide and 20–200mm deep. This listing is for one full pallet of 56 x 25kg bags, not a single bag, with free standard delivery included.

We're a small, family-run business. I'm Cleo, the owner, with over 25 years in the construction industry, having worked with businesses such as Tarmac and Instarmac. The combination of finer aggregate and a warm Limestone colour has been one of the most requested additions to the Flowpoint range, and it makes a real difference on the right stone.

If you're jointing porcelain, Cotswold limestone, Bath Stone, cream Indian sandstone, travertine, Yorkstone or pale cream or buff-toned natural stone, particularly with joints narrower than 5mm, this is one we'd suggest looking at. Its finer aggregate flows into tighter joints, and the warm Limestone tone blends with pale stones. Always try it on a small area of your paving first. For darker limestones such as black limestone, please give us a call before ordering.

What's Included in This Pallet Deal?

Detail What you receive
Product UltraScape Flowpoint Premium Smooth paving grout
Colour Limestone
Quantity 56 bags, each containing 25kg
Total grout weight 1,400kg, excluding pallet and packaging
Delivery Free standard delivery to England, Wales and the main areas of Scotland

A full pallet is worth considering for larger patios, landscaping jobs and projects with several paving areas. Check your quantity before ordering, as coverage depends on slab size, joint width and joint depth. There isn't one square-metre figure that fits every job.

If you're keeping bags for a later stage, check the dates first: the unopened shelf life is 8 months from manufacture. Keep bags cool, dry and protected from frost. Speak to us if you'd like help with quantities, delivery access or where the pallet will need to go. Free standard delivery is included, and we're happy to discuss any particular delivery requirements.

Which Stones Does Flowpoint Premium Smooth Limestone Suit Best?

What Contractors Say

GARETH WILSON — Hard Landscaping Expert & RHS Award Winner
"Some landscapers are stuck in their ways and they don't like change. Their attitude is, 'I've been doing this for 20 years… Why should I change now?' And some are quite rightly scared when they consider pouring Flowpoint onto their slabs — at the end of the day, you are pouring a cementitious slurry directly onto the pavers. It goes against everything that you've been taught. But Flowpoint has been developed so it doesn't stick to the paving.

"Flowpoint is just so easy and quick to install that it makes you money. It's a well-priced product and, in my view, a landscaper's friend. Ultimately, it means less time on the job and more profit in your pocket."

JORDAN CLAYTON — Owner of Next Level Landscapes Ltd.
"Flowpoint is our go-to product when it comes to jointing all our paving. I love how it gives me confidence that the products will stand the test of time, allowing homeowners to enjoy their garden for years to come."

Common Flowpoint Myths: Busted

Myth What to know
Flowpoint is new and unproven The Flowpoint range was developed around 25 years ago and has been used on thousands of major projects worldwide, including New Zealand, Norway, America and Dubai. Premium Smooth Limestone is an addition to that range.
It requires specialist equipment A paddle mixer and a long-handled neoprene squeegee are all you need beyond standard paving tools.
Only experienced contractors can use it It's straightforward once you know how. Follow the mixing and application instructions, watch a demonstration and carry out a trial area.
Flowpoint sticks to pavers It doesn't set instantly, but careful preparation and timely clean-down matter. Keep the area damp where required and plan around the weather, particularly in hot conditions.
It causes cracking and low spots Washing off too early can cause problems. Use the thumb test: if the joint is still bleeding, wait.
It works with every paving material It suits many paving materials, but black limestone needs particular care because of oxidation and staining risks. Contact us about suitability and pre-sealing before use.
It causes efflorescence Applied correctly it shouldn't. Problems can come from an insufficiently dried bed, too much water in the mix or early pressure-washing.
Paving must be kept completely wet Damp, not saturated. Too much water can dilute the mix and contribute to joint failure. See the preparation instructions for use with and without a temporary pre-sealer.
Slabs must sit for 28 days before grouting The bedding mortar needs to be properly cured with no visible dampness. Check its curing instructions rather than assuming one waiting period suits every bedding product.

Planning Your Mixing and Application

Use 4.25 litres of clean water per 25kg bag. Mix for 3–5 minutes and only prepare what you can place within approximately 4 minutes. Have your mixing, application and clean-down arrangements ready before you start so each batch stays manageable.

Prepare clean joints and trial the grout on your paving. Without a temporary pre-sealer, pre-soak the paving, remove standing water and keep the surface damp as you work. If using a temporary pre-sealer, follow the sealer preparation steps in the Application & Mixing tab. Work the grout into the joints with a neoprene squeegee and pole, remove excess, then clean thoroughly once the joints have hardened sufficiently. You'll find the full steps and precautions in the Application & Mixing tab.

Permeable or Non-Permeable?

Flowpoint Premium Smooth is non-permeable. Use it on a solid, non-permeable bed with adequate drainage falls. If your paving is designed to drain through the joints, you'll need a different jointing option.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Flowpoint Premium Smooth Limestone Full Pallet

I'm Cleo, owner of The Paving Experts, with over 25 years in the construction industry working with businesses including Tarmac and Instarmac. I work alongside a small team of incredibly knowledgeable and caring individuals who share the same passion for getting it right. These are the questions we get asked every day, so if yours isn't here, give us a call.

How many bags are included in this pallet deal?

One full pallet contains 56 x 25kg bags of Flowpoint Premium Smooth Limestone, giving you 1,400kg of grout. This is not a single-bag listing.

Does the full pallet include free delivery?

Yes, this 56-bag full pallet deal includes free standard delivery within 3–5 working days to England, Wales and the main areas of Scotland. Some Scottish delivery areas may carry an additional charge; we'll contact you if this applies to your order.

Please let us know about any restricted access before ordering. If a smaller lorry is needed to reach your delivery address, an additional charge may apply.

How much paving will a full pallet cover?

It depends on your paving dimensions and the width and depth of your joints. Smaller slabs and wider or deeper joints use more grout per square metre. Work out the number of 25kg bags required, then compare it with the 56 bags supplied. Send us your measurements if you'd like a hand checking before ordering.

Why buy a full pallet for granite sett paving?

Granite setts often need more grout per square metre than larger slabs because there are more joints to fill. Wider or deeper joints use more again. On a larger sett job, this 56-bag pallet lets you have material ready as you work. Check your sett dimensions, joint width and depth first so you know whether it covers the job.

Can I mix several bags at once?

Only mix what you can place within approximately 4 minutes. Each 25kg bag needs 4.25 litres of clean water. Keep sections manageable and have your clean-down equipment ready before starting.

What is Flowpoint Premium Smooth and how is it different from other Flowpoint grades?

It combines the finer aggregate of Flowpoint Smooth, for joints from 3mm rather than 5mm, with the premium colour palette of Limestone, Stone Grey and Yorkstone. If you need both a tighter joint and a colour-matched finish, particularly for pale natural stone or porcelain, this is the grade to consider.

Why choose the Limestone colour?

If you're working with pale stones such as Cotswold limestone, Bath Stone, cream sandstone or travertine, you may find Natural Grey too cool or Charcoal too dark. Limestone gives you a warmer alternative, with the finer Smooth aggregate for pale stone and porcelain with narrow joints.

Can I use it with porcelain paving?

Yes, it's an option for cream, buff or warm-toned porcelain. The finer aggregate helps it flow into narrow joints without bridging or leaving voids. We also recommend considering a temporary pre-sealer such as Tile Rite Patio Prep before grouting, as porcelain can be prone to grout haze without surface protection. Always trial your chosen preparation method first.

Can I use it with black limestone?

There are two things to check here: Flowpoint can cause oxidation on some darker limestones, and the Limestone grout colour may give more contrast than you want. If you're working with darker stones, please give us a call and we'll talk it through before you order.

How long does it last?

Applied correctly, up to 40 years without the need to re-grout.

What's the set time?

30 minutes at 20°C, with foot traffic after 1 hour. Cooler conditions slow it down; warmer ones speed it up. See our guides to grouting in cold weather and grouting in warm weather.

Is it permeable?

No. It's non-permeable and needs a solid, non-permeable bed with adequate drainage falls.

Can I use it in the rain?

Light rain is fine, and a damp day can help slow the set. Make sure the joints aren't full of rainwater before you begin.

Do I need to pre-seal?

With a temporary pre-sealer such as Tile Rite Patio Prep, don't pre-soak: the sealer acts as the barrier. Without a sealer, thoroughly wet the paving, remove standing water and keep the surface damp throughout. Follow the preparation steps in the Application & Mixing tab and carry out a trial area.

What's the shelf life?

8 months from the date of manufacture printed on the bag, stored sealed in cool, dry, frost-free conditions. Check the dates if you're buying for work spread over several stages. Using it after the declared storage period may increase the risk of an allergic reaction.

How much do I need?

Use the Flowpoint Calculator on this page to estimate the number of individual 25kg bags, then compare that with the 56 bags on this pallet. If you'd like a second check, call us with your paving and joint dimensions and we'll work it out with you.

Watch the video…

Please note: The videos below show Flowpoint Fine being applied. The mixing and application principles are the same for Flowpoint Premium Smooth, but the water ratio differs. Flowpoint Fine and Porcelpoint require 3.4 litres per 20kg bucket; Flowpoint Standard, Smooth, ECO and Premium require 4.25 litres per 25kg bag. Use the ratio for the bags you're working with.

Ready to Order Your Full Pallet?

This listing is the 56 x 25kg bag full pallet deal with free standard delivery. If you'd like to check colour, grade, quantities or delivery access, call 0330 122 1025 or get in touch. We're a small team and we're happy to talk the job through before you order.

Product UltraScape Flowpoint Premium Smooth paving grout
Colour Limestone
Quantity 56 bags, each containing 25kg

Use the Flowpoint Calculator on this page to estimate the number of individual 25kg bags, then compare that with the 56 bags on this pallet. If you'd like a second check, call us with your paving and joint dimensions and we'll work it out with you.

How to Mix & Apply Your Flowpoint Premium Smooth Limestone Pallet

This deal contains 56 individual 25kg bags. Work in manageable sections and only mix what you can place within the working time. Buying a full pallet does not change the water ratio: use 4.25 litres of clean water per 25kg bag. Plan your mixing, application and clean-down before opening bags.

Step 1: Preparation

There are two approaches depending on whether you are using a temporary pre-grout sealer or not:

Without a temporary pre-sealer (standard method):

  1. Ensure joints are clean and free from debris, dust and loose material.
  2. Thoroughly pre-soak the paving surface and joints with water.
  3. Remove all standing or ponded water from the surface and joints. A leaf blower is useful for this. The paving should be damp, not waterlogged: excess water can over-dilute the mix and weaken the joint.
  4. Keep the surface moist with a soft spray as you work. Do not allow it to dry out.

With a temporary pre-grout sealer, such as Tile Rite Patio Prep or Nexus ProJoint Pre-Grout:

  1. Apply the temporary sealer in advance and allow it to dry following its product instructions.
  2. Do not pre-soak the paving. The temporary sealer acts as the protective barrier at this stage; water is not required until clean-down.
  3. Remove any standing water from joints before grouting.
  4. Always carry out a small trial area to check compatibility with your paving.

Step 2: Mixing

  1. Add 4.25 litres of clean water per 25kg bag to a clean mixing vessel.
  2. Gradually add the powder to the water, not the other way round. Mix for 3–5 minutes until smooth, lump-free and pourable, using a slow-speed drill and paddle mixer.
  3. Only mix what you can apply in approximately 4 minutes. Do not store liquid mortar.
  4. Never remix or add extra water once mixed. This can weaken the joint and cause staining.

Step 3: Application

  1. Pour the mixed grout onto the paving.
  2. Use a neoprene squeegee and 3 section pole to work the mortar repeatedly across the joints. The fine aggregate helps it flow into narrow joints. Fill joints fully and top up any that slump after initial placement.
  3. Remove as much excess mortar as possible with the squeegee as you go.
  4. Without a temporary pre-sealer, keep the surface moist with a soft spray throughout application. With a pre-sealer, water is not required until clean-down.
  5. Once the mortar has reached its initial set and hardened sufficiently, clean the paving thoroughly with a brush and plenty of clean water. No mortar should remain on the paving surface.
  6. Wash tools frequently during application.

Step 4: Trafficking

  • Foot traffic: after 1 hour at 20°C.
  • Vehicular traffic: after 4 hours at 20°C.
  • Cool temperatures slow the set; warm temperatures speed it up. Avoid direct sunlight and frost.

Important Precautions

  • Wear appropriate PPE and avoid skin and eye contact. Wet cement can cause serious skin burns.
  • Never remix or add extra water once prepared.
  • If you are not using a pre-bagged UltraScape bedding mortar, take care when selecting sand and aggregates for site-batched bedding. Some bedding mortars can leach pigment into the grout and affect joint colour. Contact us if you need advice.
  • Do not apply below 3°C or if frost is expected within 24 hours.
  • Do not apply in direct sunlight: rapid setting can make clean-down difficult.
  • Store unopened bags in a cool, dry, frost-free area. Shelf life is 8 months from manufacture, shown on the white strip on the bag. Check dates when planning phased work with a full pallet.
Flowpoint Premium is a rapid-setting, cement-based paving grout for suitable natural stone, porcelain, concrete flags and granite setts. The flowable mix helps fill the joints, while the correct grade, paving build-up and application method all matter to the finished result. The existing range information describes a service life of up to 40 years when correctly installed, for domestic and commercial projects. Choose the grade by joint dimensions as well as colour. Premium Standard suits joints 5–50mm wide; Premium Smooth has a finer aggregate for joints 3–50mm wide. Both have a joint-depth range of 20–200mm. The 2mm minimum applies to Fine and Porcelpoint, not Premium Smooth. Premium Smooth comes in Limestone, Stone Grey and Yorkstone. Trial the grout and preparation method on your paving before wider use. A temporary pre-grout sealer can help protect the surface during grouting; follow its preparation instructions. Without temporary pre-sealer, dampen paving and joints and remove standing water. Work the grout into the joints with a squeegee and clean thoroughly once the joints are sufficiently firm. Initial set is not the same as working time: check the current bag instructions and joint firmness rather than washing by the clock alone.
